This is our statement of faith. If you see an error in scripture usage, please let us know!!

We encourage everyone to develope a personal statement of faith. It is essential to the Christian walk.

Preamble:
____________________

It is the purpose of this Statement to set out briefly and simply the substance of the Christian faith.

No attempt is made to answer all the questions which devout men may reasonably ask in regard to God and man and salvation. However, I believe that I have included what is essential to the life of the Christian. If our purpose were apologetic I would have used more of the language of modern science and philosophy. Because my purpose, and the purpose of the Arador Evangelical Association is affirmative I have as far as possible adopted rather the language of Scripture, a language which matches the supreme facts it tells of, God's acts of judgment and of mercy. The Christian's faith is the unchanging Gospel of God's holy, redeeming love revealed in Jesus Christ. Christians of each new generation are called to state it afresh in terms of the thought of their own age and with the emphasis their age needs. It is our hope that this statement of faith is Biblically accurate. It will be updated as a need arise.

1.) God

I believe that God is eternal. He is holy and righteous. God is the Alpha and the Omega. He created the world through the help of his son Jesus Christ. God is just, and he is the protector of the innocent. He loves his creation and wants us to know him. God desires us to do good, and protect the earth he created. God is the one true God and his words are truth. His commandments are to be obeyed at all times. He answers prayer and welcomes all who come to him through his son Jesus Christ.Scriptures:

Gen. 1:1, Ex. 15:11, Job 12:13, Matthew 19:26, Matthew 6:6, John 1:12

2.) Jesus Christ

I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ who is the Word and has eternally existed. I believe that He is the Messiah, the Christ, the divine Son of the living God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born in the human flesh of the virgin Mary. I believe Mary married Joseph, thus having Joseph being Jesus’ earthly father. I believe that it is by Him that God created all things and that without Him was not anything made that was made. 3.) Heaven

I believe that Heaven is a real, literal place. There the believers in Jesus reside when they die. The angels praise the LORD God there forever. Plus, the streets are paved with gold.Scriptures:

Revelation 21:23, Colossians 1:12, 2 Corinthians 12:2-4

4.) Hell

I believe that Hell is a real, literal place. It is reserves solely for the unbeliever. Those who reject the Gospel truth reside here after death, suffering eternal torment.Scriptures:

Daniel 12:3, 7:22-27; 1 Thessalonians 4:17, 2 Peter 2:9, Romans 8:17, Revelations 20:11-15

5.) Satan

I believe that Satan is a spirit being who is the adversary of God and the children of God. Satan has been given dominion over the world for a specific period of time. Satan has deceived humanity into rejecting God and His law. Satan has ruled by deception with the aid of a host of demons who are rebellious angels, spirit beings, who followed Satan in his rebellion. During the time of judgment (the last days), Satan will be cast into the pit and locked there for 1,000 years while Christ reigns on the throne. Satan is the persecutor, the hater, and the accuser. He seeks to destroy all Christians and lead them astray.

6.) The Bible

The Bible is the living doctrine of God. It teaches the rules and laws that God gave mankind to follow. It is history and should be preserved for future generations. We must read it daily so we can know our Creator’s will.

Scriptures: ____________________

Psalm 119: 11, John 1:1-2, 1 Corinthians 23, 2 Timothy 3:16-17

7. Mankind’s Fall

I believe that humanity was created in the image of God with the potential to become children of God, partakers of the divine nature. God formed humanity of flesh, which is material substance. Human beings live by the breath of life, are mortal, subject to corruption and decay, without eternal life, except as the gift of God under God's terms and conditions as expressed in the Bible. I believe that God placed before Adam and Eve the choice of eternal life through obedience to God, or death through sin. Adam and Eve yielded to temptation and disobeyed God. As a result, sin entered the world, and through sin, death. Death now reigns over all humanity because all have sinned and deserve eternal punishment. However if they accept Jesus Christ as Savior, they are freed from eternal punishment. Scriptures:

Genesis 1:26, 2:17; Ephesians 2:1-3, Isaiah 64:6

8.) Salvation

I believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned in Adam, and that all men by nature and by choice are sinners having incurred not only physical death but also that spiritual death which is separation from God. I also believe that "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Therefore, those who by faith, apart from human merit, works, or ceremonies, accept Christ as Lord and Savior are justified on the grounds of His shed blood and become children of God. I believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust The saved will rejoice forever in God's presence and the lost will be forever separated from God in everlasting conscious punishment. I believe that every human being is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith. Scriptures:

Acts 13:39, Romans 5:1, Titus 2:11-14

9.) The Church

The Church is God’s light to the dark world in which we live. She is called to be a witness to all people. During the rapture, the Church will be reunited with our Lord Jesus Christ. She is also a united Body of Christ. The Church is the body of believers in the LORD Jesus Christ. The Church has a solemn responsibility to be a witness to the unbelievers in this world. I also believe in separation of Church and State. The Church is meant to help the believer grow spiritually. It is to teach the unchanging Gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ.. It is not to teach false doctrine or lead its members astray.Scriptures:

Act 2:41-47, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Ephesians 5:29-30, John 17:11

10.) The Holy Spirit

I believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from God to convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ. He dwells in each believer and comes to them through dreams, visions, and by speaking directly to them. He helps the believers pray correctly and helps them witness to the unbeliever.Scriptures:

CONCLUSION:
_______________________

It is my hope that this new and fresh statement of faith clears up any misunderstandings I have caused. I also pray that the scriptures are Biblically correct. The Arador Evangelical Association exists to spread God’s Word to the nations through a website, articles of faith, a message board forum, and local outreach. My ministry audience is mostly teenagers who have disabilities, but it can be geared towards adults alike. This is the conclusion of my statement of faith for myself and my ministry. It will be updated as needs arise.

Sincerely in Christ,
